PROFILES OF CHINESE HERITAGE PROGRAMS/SCHOOLS
This searchable database allows you to find some general information about Chinese heritage language programs and schools in the United States. Each profile in this database is a snapshot of the program or institution that provides Chinese language and culture courses to students in their local community, particularly to Chinese heritage speakers in the United States.
In this database of program/school profiles you will find not only demographic information, but also information about program type, instruction, instructional materials, teachers and students. The information in the database was provided by individual organization or school, gathered through program/school websites, or obtained through phone interviews with program administrators by our research team. While the research team has striven to keep most up-to-date information in the database, we rely on the programs/schools to contact us for any changes in the database and to reply to our periodical request to update their information. The research team at the University of Toledo cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information in the database.
We encourage Chinese heritage programs/schools to submit their program information for inclusion in this database. To submit a new entry for a Chinese program/school, click here to complete the online survey.
